49 receive CentCom award

CEBU, Philippines - The Central Command of the military yesterday gave awards to several soldiers and civilian individuals who have contributed to its many accomplishments.

Lieutenant General Isagani Cachuela, CentCom commander, led the giving of the awards in a ceremony inside his office.

Twenty soldiers received the military merit medals while 16 others received the plaques of appreciation. At least 13 civilians, including the members of Central Command Press Corps, also received the plaques of appreciation.

Receiving the military merit medals were Lt. Col. Jacinto R. Bareng, Lt. Col. Mario J. Pajutan, Maj. Michael A. Santos, Maj. Roque Kim B. Pedroza, Maj. Ireneo E. Balucan Jr., Mac Reynaldo D. Cruz, Maj. Arlene C. Mandal, SMS Renante S. Encabo PN, CPO Arveil V. Armecin PN, CPO Maurello G. Gemperoa PN, Master Sergeant Vicente M. Palo, Master Sergeant Sulpicio Anore Jr., Master Sergeant Normelito N. Enero, CPO Daniel O. Neri PN, Master Sergeant Carlos E. Aggari PA, Master Sergeant Manuel T. Geriane, Master Sergeant Rodrigo T. Bayabos PA, Technical Sergeant Franco D. De Guzman PA, and Sergeant Andrew R. Roma PA.
