CEBU, Philippines - The relatively peaceful living of the residents of Barangay Capitancillo, Bogo City were disturbed when a man’s dead body was found afloat off the shores of the barangay last Saturday.
SPO3 Rolando Torquedo of Bogo City Police said a fisherman, certain Berting Obial, a resident of Barangay Nailon, was the one who found the dead body.
Obial claimed he was fishing off the water of Barangay Capitancillo when saw the dead man’s body floating. He then took the body and reported the incident to the police station.
The victim was estimated to be 5’2” to 5’3” in height, with a sign of a cross tattoo in his right arm, wearing a maroon sleeveless shirt and black underwear.
The dead body was immediately buried following the advice of the city health officer as it was already in the state of decomposition.
