Alleged drug pusher falls
CEBU, Philippines - An alleged drug pusher was arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted in barangay Tejero past midday yesterday. Three packs of shabu were also seized from Arnel Limpio, 39, a resident of the barangay.
Operatives of the city police’s intelligence branch conducted the operation by posting a decoy to transact with Limpio at the latter’s residence. The decoy was to buy a packet of shabu worth P200.
Just as Limpio handed the shabu over to the decoy, policemen surfaced and placed him under arrest. Two other packs of shabu were also confiscated from him.
Limpio did not resist arrest and is now detained at the Cebu City Police Office stockade awaiting formal charges against him. The confiscated shabu are is now with the PNP Crime Laboratory for examination. — Niña G. Sumacot/JMO (FREEMAN NEWS)
