CEBU, Philippines - San Nicolas and Carbon Police Stations have acquired new chiefs effective yesterday after the relief and transfer of their respective police chiefs to other units of the Cebu City Police Office.
CCPO director Patrocinio Comendador has ordered the assignment of Sr. Insp. Noel Lomente, deputy chief of the Investigation and Detective Management Branch, to San Nicolas Police Station.
This after the transfer of San Nicolas Police Station chief Renero Agustin to the Carbon Police Station to replace its outgoing chief Sr. Insp. Patrocenio Abesia, who, for health reasons, was transferred to Cebu City Mobile Group last August 10.
Comendador designated Carbon Police Station deputy chief, Insp. Henry Eguia, to take over the post vacated by Abesia in an acting capacity.
The CCPO director also relieved Chief Insp. Ryan Devaras from the Talamban Police Station to serve as the deputy chief of the City Intelligence Branch under Supt. Jonathan Abella.
He said the recent move is only part of the regular revamp of police officials. —Niña G. Sumacot/WAB
