'Kapihan' on carbon credits set today

CEBU, Philippines - Carbon credits being one of the identified measures to significantly reduce greenhouse gases, which is one major factor that contributes to climate change, will be tackled in today’s Kapihan sa PIA in its regional office along Gorordo Avenue, here in Cebu City.

In this regular forum initiated by the Philippine Information Office-7, top representatives of the Departments of Environment and Natural Resources and Energy-7 and the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration will serve as main panelists.

The discussion set to start at 9:45 a.m. at the PIA-7 office, 3rd floor of Machay Building, along Gorordo Ave. will focus on addressing climate change especially through carbon credits along with the other adaptation and mitigation measures undertaken to pad the impact of changing weather patterns and conditions. – MEEV   (THE FREEMAN)
