Police, non-police personnel donate blood

-

CEBU, Philippines – Sixty six police and non-police personnel from different police stations, Barangay Intelligence Network, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology participated in a blood-letting activity yesterday.

The donation would go to the Regional Blood Coordinating Council, which the Cebu City Police Office, BJMP, and the city government have partnered with for yesterday’s activity.

The blood-letting activity was held from 8am to 1pm at the Camp Sotero Cabahug.

“We’ve always believed that giving is better than receiving that’s why police officers, whose lives are constantly placed on the line, should give more. It’s a nice feeling to help and be helped in return,” said City Police Director Patrocinio Comendador.

The blood-letting activity was the first conducted by CCPO. — Niña G. Sumacot/JMO (THE FREEMAN)
