CEBU, Philippines – The Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines-Episcopal Commission on Vocations (CBCP-ECV) will hold the first phase of its seminar-workshop series for the vocation ministers in Cebu City.
Aimed at promoting vocations, the activity has four phases which will be held separately starting this month.
The first phase of the conference is scheduled from July 27 to31, 2009 at the Order of Augustinian Discalced (OAD) Retreat House in Tabor Hill in Talamban. It will discuss different vocation promotion programs.
The second phase, which is entitled “Spiritual Direction in Vocation Discernment,” will be held from September 21 to 25, 2009 in Baguio City.
In this activity, the participants will be introduced to various ways in guiding candidates in their search of their vocation through prayer and discernment.
The third phase will be from November 23 to 27, 2009 in Bukidnon where the participating ministers will help vocation candidates in their discernment through the assessment of their family dynamics.
To be held from January 25 to 29, 2010 in Manila, the final phase will have the ministers guide the aspirants on their vocation discernment through an evaluation of their psycho sexual dynamics dubbed as “Human Sexuality in the Vocation Journey.” — Johanna T. Natavio/LPM (THE FREEMAN)
