3 men rob Internet café
CEBU, Philippines - At least three unidentified robbers barged into an Internet café along Urgello Street in barangay Sambag I yesterday dawn and took away almost P10,000 worth of cash and cellular phones.
According to a police report, the men went inside Raiser Internet Café around 3:45 a.m. pretending to be customers, but declared the holdup moments later.
The men then took away the Internet café’s proceeds worth P4,000 from caretaker Joseph Pacaña, P500 cash and a cellular phone worth P3,000 from customer Renante Viñes, cellular phone worth P1,200 from customer Charmaine Atillano, and P50 cash from customer Harvey Obiso.
The victims tried to resist but the robbers pointed a gun at them. After the robbery, the robbers locked the door before fleeing.
