CEBU, Philippines – After almost two months as officer-in-charge of the Cebu Provincial Police Office Supt. Erson Digal was assigned to the Logistics Office of Police Regional Office-7 effective yesterday.
Sr. Supt. Jesus Gaquing will be taking over as the new director of CPPO.
Digal thanked Governor Gwendolyn Garcia for giving him the chance to run CPPO even for a short while.
“Pasalamat ko ni Governor Gwen Garcia nga iya kong gitagaan og panahon nga molingkod sa CPPO. Hasta pud sa akong mga kauban nga nitabang sa pagsuporta sa tanan namong campaign ug sa among flagship program,” Digal said.
Digal started in CPPO as the deputy director for operations in March 16, 2006.
Gaquing handled the Regional Mobile Group-7 prior to his promotion.
“I will relinquish my post as the OIC of CPPO to Sr. Supt. Jesus Gaquing tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. at the governor’s office to be witnessed by Regional Director Chief Supt. Lani-O Nerez and Honorable Gwendolyn Garcia,” Digal said. —Christopher Gabriel C. Bonjoc/BRP (THE FREEMAN)
