CEBU, Philippines – A man who attended a wake ended up being shot after his neighbor got angry at the noise he was making while playing mahjong in sitio Ciwak, barangay Bulacao, Cebu City, around 10 p.m. the other day.
Audie Tacatani, was rushed by his neighbors to the Cebu City Medical Center after being shot by a certain Junior Abadiano.
Investigation showed that prior to the incident, the victim was playing mahjong game at a wake while the alleged assailant was inside his house nearby.
Around 9:40 p.m., the alleged assailant admonished the victim for allegedly making too much noise while playing the said game, but this irked the victim and a heated argument ensued between them.
The alleged assailant then left right after but returned with a handgun and shot the victim in the abdomen while allegedly saying: “Pasayloa lang ko, pare.”
