CEBU, Philippines - Two waiters of a restaurant were arrested while their companion is now at large for peeping at a woman who was urinating at their establishment the other day.
Jerry Canota, 28, a native of Negros Oriental, and Benjur Cuna, 20, of Daanbantayan are now detained at the Fuente Police Station for allegedly peeping at a woman who was urinating inside the comfort room of the restaurant located along Osmeña Boulevard before noon the other day.
Their companion who is also a waiter of the restaurant, Benjie Cullamat, of San Remigio, however evaded arrest. The three are temporarily residing in barangay Capitol Site.
A police report said a 26-year-old woman from barangay Guadalupe, Carcar City, was urinating at the comfort room of the restaurant when she noticed a cellular phone placed through the hole underneath the door intended to view her image inside.
This prompted her shout for help, which led the suspects to scamper away. But the restaurant’s security guard, Edwin Jakosalem, timely arrested Canota and Cuna.
A member of Police Regional Office-7 who happened to be dining at the restaurant also helped in the arrest of the suspects.– Niña G. Sumacot/LPM (THE FREEMAN)
