-

CEBU, Philippines – Supt. Larson Dechino, chief of police in Danao City, will be leaving his post in relation to PNP rules in which a police officer is required to serve for two years in a particular place.

Dechino will be assigned to the Cebu Provincial Police Office for the Provincial Security Service Group, while Supt. Elmer Lim will be taking over his former post in Danao City. Lim is the former chief of operations at the CPPO.

Taking over his post is Supt. Romeo Perigo who is currently the deputy director for operations at the CPPO. Perigo was previously assigned as the chief of police in Talisay City but was later transferred to the CPPO following the controversy involving Joavan Fernandez, son of Talisay City Mayor Socrates Fernandez.
