Total DNA-assisted identifications released - 244

CEBU - Interpol’s Incident Response Team (IRT), which includes a representative from the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) urge the families of Typhoon Frank victims who have not yet given DNA samples to the DVI-IRT forensic team or have given only one sample to call (032) 2560491 to 93 local 26 for information on the DNA testing process.

These telephones will be manned from 8-12 NN and 1-5 PM, Monday to Friday. To facilitate the identification of a missing person, blood samples from at least two direct relatives are needed.   (THE FREEMAN)
