Trisikad driver accused of rape
CEBU - A trisikad driver was accused of raping a 29-year-old woman in a grassy area in sitio Kinner, barangay Sangi, Toledo City, last Saturday evening around 10 p.m.
The victim, a resident of Toledo City, said she got on a trisikad driven by the suspect named Sergio Pansacala Nadela, 34, in sitio Kinner and asked to be taken to barangay Poblacion.
When they reached in a dark place along Osmeña Street the suspect suddenly stopped and allegedly grabbed the victim. The victim tried to run away but was overpowered by the suspect who then raped her.
The following day the victim reported the incident to the Toledo City police. The suspect was arrested last Sunday morning at around 9:30 a.m.
