CEBU - A man was killed after a tricycle collided with a motorcycle after it overlapped the center line of the road in barangay Bugas, Badian town around 5 p.m. last Monday afternoon.
The driver of the tricycle bearing plate no. GZ-6572 was identified as Joel Macabinta, 36, of barangay Malhiao while his passenger was identified as Jordan Duerme, 13, also of barangay Malhiao.
The motorcycle with plate number GL-2673 was driven by Jonnie Cuansing, 26, of Tolon, Rizal, Zamboanga del Sur and temporarily residing in Moalboal town.
Badian police Macabinta was on his way to Moalboal town when his vehicle crossed the center line of the road and crashed into the motorcycle driven by Cuansing.
The victims were rushed to the Badian District Hospital where Macabinta was declared dead. The other two victims were later taken to a hospital in Cebu City for further treatment. — Christopher Gabriel Bonjoc/BRP (THE FREEMAN)
