Man killed, another hurt in bike crash

Cebu - A man was killed after the front wheel of the motorcycle he was riding exploded causing it to crash in sitio Bitoon, barangay Muabog, Tabogon town at around 5 p.m. last Sunday.

PO2 Tito Precillas of the Tabogon police said Aldrin Christian was riding pillion on the Kawasaki motorcycle with plate no. GB-6581 driven by a certain Lito Booc when the front wheel suddenly burst, causing the motorcycle to wobble out of control.

The motorcycle crashed and the two were thrown into the pavement.

The victims, both residents of barangay Poblacion, sustained major injuries to different part of their bodies and were rushed to the Juan Dosado Memorial Hospital in Sogod.

But Christian was declared dead on arrival while Booc was transferred to another hospital in Cebu City. – Christopher Gabriel Bonjoc/BRP (THE FREEMAN)
