CEBU - Three employees of the Metropolitan Cebu Water District were robbed by two unidentified men shortly before noon last Friday in St. Jude, barangay Bulacao, Cebu City.
Roseller Maglasang, 40, of Consolacion town; Eduardo Micaros, 37, of barangay Hipodromo, Cebu City; and Feliciano Tolentino, 31, of barangay Busay, Cebu City, lost their wallets, cellular phones, e-cards and assorted items.
The victims reported that while they were taking readings on water meters in the area, the robbers suddenly appeared and pretended to ask them about the time. It was when they were caught off-guard that one of them pulled out a .38 cal. revolver and the other a knife and declared a hold-up before taking their items.
The robbers then fled toward barangay Inayawan.
Victims described the robber who was armed with the revolver as chinky-eyed, fair-skinned, of medium build, standing 5’1” tall and with short hair. He was said to be around 18 to 21 years old.
