CEBU - The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and PGMC Marketing Corporation recently introduced its latest scratch sweepstakes game called Instant Lotto Biglang Panalo, which comes in two variants —the “Jack en Poy” and “Pot of Gold”.
The Jack en Poy variant is based on the traditional Rock, Paper and Scissors game everyone knows how to play: Rock wins over Scissors, Scissors win over Paper and Paper wins over Rock.
To play, the player simply needs to scratch off the film off the Lotto card to match his “hand” against the “hand to beat” to win the prize. For this game, the Lotto card is divided into two vertically —the left side bears the symbol of the “hand to beat” while the right side bears the symbol of the player’s “hand.”
A player has three rows where he can get three chances to win up to P200,000.
Meanwhile, the Pot of Gold variant is based on the traditional Filipino game “Hampas Palayok” wherein a player can win the prize by “breaking” the pot.
In Lotto, a player may win up to P200,000 if he finds a gold coin after scratching the Lotto card. A prize is indicated below the scratched portion of the card. A player has six chances to win prizes.
Prizes for winning tickets below P5,000 may be claimed at authorized Instant Lotto “Biglang Panalo” outlets or at the nearest PCSO office while who win P5,000 above may claim their prize at the PCSO Main Office or nearest PCSO Provincial District Offices.
Those who wish to be a Lotto dealer may visit any PCSO office. A dealer can earn P400 for every booklet sold plus a chance of receiving a seller’s commission, which is 10 percent of prizes won at P10,000 and above. — Jasmin R. Uy/JMO (THE FREEMAN)
