PRA promotes RP as retirement haven
CEBU - The Philippine Retirement Agency is aggressively mobilizing itself to promote the Philippines as a most viable retirement haven in the Southeast Asia.
This is in anticipation of the influx of foreign retirees who are and will be seeking for a perfect place where they could settle after decades of hardships in their jobs.
In a press release, PRA said that its present administration’s main focus is the establishment of its presence in every key city of the country, giving way to the opening of PRA-Cebu satellite office in order to cater the needs of the foreign retirees in the Visayas region.
To attract more clients and as an expression of gratitude, PRA-Cebu will be holding a Christmas get-together party for all their Visa holders in the Visayas in the evening of December 13.
Around 150 foreign guests with different nationalities and key persons in other government agencies and other consulate offices are expected to attend the event that would be held at the Mactan Crown Regency Hotel and Suites in Lapu-Lapu City.
PRA is a government-owned and controlled corporation mandated to attract foreign nationals and former Filipino citizens to invest, reside and retire in the Philippines with the end-view of accelerating the socio-economic development of the country, contributing to the foreign currency reserve of the economy, and by providing them the best quality of life in the most attractive package.
Its primary role is to promote and grant the Special Resident Retiree Visa (SRRV) to would-be retirees, offer a range of services and benefits, and comfort that would make their stay truly worthwhile.
PRA promotes the country through its world-renowned Filipino hospitality, diverse culture, and reasonable standard of living which came from the testimonies of the retirees who has chosen the Philippines as their new home.
