Girl files complaint against her father for sexual abuse

CEBU - A 13- year-old girl from San Francisco, Camotes filed charges against her father for allegedly abusing her sexually in March this year.

The complainant alleged that the act happened one night when her father entered her room, embraced her, and even touched her private parts. Her father also allegedly told her to hold his private part.

The complainant’s younger brother reportedly saw what happened and even told their mother about it. The brother said their father allegedly held his sister’s arms and covered her mouth to prevent her from making any noise.

Their mother was out of the house at that time, as she was working as a house help in a nearby house. Deeply saddened with the incident, the victim’s mother reported her husband to the San Francisco Police Station.

The provincial prosecutor’s office, to which the complaint was filed, is giving the suspect the time to answer the charges against him.– Jasmin R. Uy/JMO (THE FREEMAN)
