Man hangs himself

CEBU – A man was found hanging dead from an ipil-ipil tree around 5 a.m. yesterday in sitio Batuan, barangay Lamintak Norte, Medellin town.

Teofisto Nulla, 38, married with five kids, reportedly committed suicide by tying a rope around his neck with the other end tied to a branch of the ipil-ipil tree.

His wife, Susana said that at around 11 a.m. last Sunday, Teofisto asked permission from her to go to Cebu City to seek treatment to an ailment.

Her husband had reportedly been suffering from fever and body aches for a week already prior to the incident.
