7 Crips members arrested for various offenses

CEBU – Seven members of the Crips gang was arrested by police last Friday evening in barangay Lorega-San Miguel, one for having a snub-nosed .38 cal. Smith & Wesson revolver and eight others for drunkenness.

Members of the Parian police station were conducting a saturation drive in Lorega-San Miguel when they chanced upon Crips members drinking. 

Policemen moved in to arrest them but some of them still managed to evade authorities.

James Villarida, 19, a resident of barangay Basak San Nicolas, is now facing charges for illegal possession of firearms. 

The others arrested for drunkenness were Noel Monta, 18; John Rey Aldi, 19; Spencer Takamora, 19; Romel Cuizon, 20; Clarence Abadia, 21; and Mark Diaz, 27.
