CEBU - A criminal complaint was filed against a leader of the notorious Crips Gang after he allegedly tried to sexually molest a minor they recruited to join the fraternity during the group’s initiation rites in Badian last week.
The mother and the 13-year-old victim was assisted by the chief of police of Badian in filing a case for acts of lasciviousness against a certain Mario Caballero before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office yesterday.
Caballero is said to be the leader of the Crips Gang in Badian who recruited the victim last month.
The victim said that sometime in August 6, her friends from the Badian National High School went to her house to convince her to join the fraternity.
During the initiation, Caballero reportedly blindfolded her, as it was part of the initiation rites. She was then told to lie down on her back on the floor and afterwards, another person reportedly positioned himself on top of her.
When Caballero shouted “sige game start!” the person on top of her allegedly started kissing her on the lips and forcibly tried to put a kiss mark on her breast. Caballero also allegedly tried to have sex with her but she refused.
Meanwhile, on September 12, the victim said Caballero allegedly brought her to a drinking session and that after consuming two glasses of wine, Caballero reportedly told her to go to an abandoned house where she was again kissed on the lips and on her breasts. Caballero again allegedly requested that they have sex but she refused.
The victim’s association with the fraternity was discovered by her parents who immediately reported group’s activities in the school to the school officials.
The victim’s parents also reported the incident to the police after the victim herself revealed what she allegedly experienced with Caballero.
