Man stabbed dead in brgy Mambaling

CEBU - A man was killed after he was stabbed by unidentified assailant early yesterday dawn in barangay Mambaling, Cebu City. 

Homicide police said a sidewalk vendor saw Marcelino Domen, 36, walking in sitio Puntod, Mambaling when he was followed by the assailant who stabbed him in the neck. The perpetrator then fled afterwards.

Domen was already bleeding profusely when the police arrived. A follow-up investigation is being conducted to determine the motive and identity of the suspect.

Meanwhile, a certain Alejandro, caretaker of Primary Structure Incorporated in barangay Mabolo, found the body of Ulysis Dunan, inside the bunkhouse of PSI a little past midnight yesterday.

Investigation by the police revealed that Dunan died a natural death. Dunan, a resident of Sogod town, is a construction worker employed with PSI. — Niña Chrismae G. Sumacot/JMO (THE FREEMAN)
