Merchandiser charged for stealing hair conditioners

CEBU - theft before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office yesterday for stealing dozens of hair conditioners worth P794.

Johnmar Espinosa was charged after he was caught stealing Cream Silk conditioner at Foodah Hypermart-Consolacion by taping 14 dozens of hair conditioners in his leg last September 16.

Ten dozens and four dozens of pink and black Cream Silk conditioners, respectively, were allegedly recovered from the possession of the accused.

Richard Versaga, a scanning staff of the establishment said Espinosa was about to go out of their bodega but when he was checked, it was found out that the accused stole the items by taping them in both his legs.

Espinosa has allegedly admitted to the crime before the management of Foodah Hypermart and he was later brought to Consolacion Police for detention and filing of the complaint.

Prosecutor Jay Paradiang has recommended a bail of P24,000 for the temporary liberty of the accused. — Jasmin R. Uy/WAB  (THE FREEMAN)
