Three persons were injured after a speeding jeepney hit a Honda Civic along V. Rama Ave. last Saturday night.
According to traffic management officer PO3 Anthony Deligero, the collision occurred when the private vehicle turned left at the corner of V. Rama Ave. heading towards Lucio Drive about 8:30 p.m. Saturday and the jeepney hit it from behind.
The driver of the Civic, Joshua Famador, 34, sustained a wound in his forehead, prompting him to be confined at the Chong Hua Hospital together with a certain Melvin dela Cerna and another unidentified companion inside the vehicle.
There were no reported injuries to those in the other vehicle.
The jeepney, with plate number GBU-321, was reportedly hired for private use. Police are still determining the number of passengers in the jeepney but the driver was identified as a certain Canindo Leonardo Jr.
No formal legal action was undertaken as of yesterday. —Ghea N. Sinajon
