Man killed for harassing farmer’s wife
A man was reportedly hacked several times and then shot to death in barangay Matun-og, Balamban recently.
The victim was identified as David Sedura, single, of legal age, and a resident of the said place while the suspect was identified as Jenifer Alasdose, 26 years old.
PO3 Eugene Macapas, desk officer of the Balamban Police Station, disclosed that Alasdose was out in the cornfield when he reportedly heard a commotion from his house which was only several meters away. This prompted Alasdose to rush to his house and check.
He then found out that his common law wife, identified as Zosima Atis, was allegedly harassed by Sedura who was armed with a gun and a bolo.
Alasdose also alleged that Sedura fired at him but missed.
He then grappled for the weapons and upon taking hold of the bolo first, Alasdose began hacking Sedura hitting him several times in the different parts of his body. As soon as Sedura slumped onto the ground, Alasdose got hold of the firearm and shot Sedura, killing him in the process.
