Mayor Frasco launches Liloan website today
With aim to finally bring his hometown to the World Wide Web, Liloan Mayor Vincent Franco “Duke” Frasco is launching today the official website of the town.
The website will give the Liloanons, especially those who are now living around the world, updates on current events in the second-class municipality.
The 26-year-old Frasco said he is pushing for the town’s development to realize his dream for it to become a city.
“The Internet has enabled the world to be at our fingertips. With the new Liloan website, Liloanons around the world will be able to keep abreast with current news in our town,” said
Recently, the town celebrated its fiesta, the highlight of which is the unique battle of festivals among its various barangays.
While other municipalities feature only one festival in the celebration, Frasco encourages the creativity of his barangays by allowing them to conceptualize their own festival that recognizes each one’s unique heritage or product.
The mayor said he wanted to show the barangays that they too can accomplish gargantuan goals.

The website will highlight various products and tourist sites in the town such as the lighthouse - which is more than 100 years old - its industries, current programs of the municipal government, potential investments areas in the town, and profiles of town officials, among others. – Mitchelle L.
