Man shot dead, right hand severed & taken
A 25-year-old man was found shot dead and his right had dismembered and missing in barangay Bulwag, Tuburan town, last Friday night.
The victim was identified as Arnel Tungal, married, and a resident of the said place. He was found dead with several gunshot wounds to the face and in different parts of the body.
The perpetrators of the crime as well as their motives are yet unknown to the authorities.
According to PO2 Noel Rodriguez of Tuburan Police Station, witnesses reported hearing men knocking on the door of the victim. After he opened the door, gunshots followed.
After the victim fell to the ground, one of the perpetrators pulled out a knife and hacked off the right hand of the victim who was already dead. The two took the hand with them when they left.
