Alleged bigtime drug pusher falls

An alleged big-time drug pusher was arrested by elements of the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Branch in barangay Labangon during a raid yesterday.

Deputy city police director Supt. Paul Labra identified the suspect as David Taboada, 32, resident of sitio Cogon, barangay Labangon, who was arrested through a warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 58 judge Gabriel Ingles.

Taboada is allegedly a Level 2 drug pusher who can sell up to 200 grams of shabu per week.

Last year another warrant was issued against Taboada for the same offense but he was able to elude arrest.

Taboada said after the warrant came out against him last year he went to Ormoc City to escape.   — Queenie Chariz Dayanan, CNU intern/BRP
