2 alleged notorious robbers shot to death
Two alleged notorious robbers were found dead after enduring multiple shots in their heads in sitio Miller, barangay San Nicolas at around
Richard Quijano alias “Etat”, 19, and Ken Laresma, 18, both residents of barangay Duljo-Fatima sustained multiple gunshot wounds on their heads.
Information gathered from the crime scene revealed that the victims were heard saying “Ayaw bai!” afterwhich several bursts of gunfire rang out. Residents found the bloodied victims sprawled on the roadside.
Mobile Patrol Group and several barangay tanods of Duljo-Fatima responded to the report, but the perpetrators had already fled.
The bodies of the victims were taken to the funeral homes for autopsy.
Cebu City Police Office director Patrocinio Comendador confirmed that there were pending warrants of arrest for Quijano for robbery and Laresma for petty theft.
In an interview, Comendador said that the victims’ involvement in several robbery incidents in the barangay, as well as in the illegal drugs trade, might have motivated the killing. — Princess Mondejar/MEEV
