Woman stabbed fighting off robber

A 35-year-old woman was stabbed and wounded when she tried to fight off an armed robber in barangay Guadalupe the other night, and eventually lost her P900 cash to the unidentified culprit.

Thirty-five-year-old Corazon Rosell, a resident of Pacaña Compound, Guadalupe, told the police that she had just had her money changed from a nearby station and was walking her way home when the robber attacked her and got her money.

The report from the city police Theft and Robbery Section stated that the robber had been following Rosell from the gasoline station, then struck when she passed by a dimly-lit area.

Rosell fought back but she was overpowered and got stabbed in the back, the police report stated.
