4 robbers hit twice; first victim killed
Four unidentified men staged two successive robberies Sunday night, stabbing the first victim to death without getting any money and succeeded in taking a cell phone and P1,000 cash from the next victim.
Senior Inspector Romeo Santander, Minglanilla Police Station chief, said the first victim was 25-year-old Jimmy Alianit, a resident of the barangay who was robbed while driving his passenger multicab then stabbed by the four when he failed to give them money.

Their victims were 25-year-old Jessie Patron, and his female companion. They were walking together in the area when the four arrived and declared a holdup. The two did not resist and Patron gave his cell phone, worth P4,500, and wallet containing his driver’s license and P1,000 cash.
