Brownout in Talamban, neighboring areas today

A 12-hour power interruption is expected to hit Talamban and nearby barangays today from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. due to the uprating of power lines and replacement of rotten poles.

 The Visayan Electric Company Inc. said the power interruption will hit Miñoza St., Maryville Subdivision, Sitio Tigbao, Villa del Rio 1 and 2, High View, Villa Leyson, Decca Homes, Greenfields, Joseville, Andrew’s and Metropolis Subdivision, CIS Compound and Bacayan.

It will also hit the entire barangays of Pit-os, Binaliw, Mabini, Agsungot, Guba, Adlawon, Cambinocot, Paril, and Lusaran.

At 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., a power interruption will occur in some portions of barangay Casuntingan in Mandaue City, including a portion of Sacris Road, A. Seno Street, Tikyan Street, Felisa and Marcelino Village, as VECO will facilitate the relocation of primary lines.
