One man was killed with four others were injured after they were zapped while installing a television antenna in barangay Talavera, Toledo City last Friday.
SPO1 Praxilo Albiso of the Toledo City police said John Daryll Basalo, 19, Joel Guillano, 34; Dianna Guillano, 12; Rosemarie Mago, 39 and Jonathan Geraldez, 36, were installing an antenna in the store owned by Mago when the tube where the antenna was mounted on came in contact with a transmission line.
The line belonged to the Balamban Enerzone and supplied the power to the settlement where they lived.
“Wala man mabantayi nila nga nagdikit ang tumoy nga bahin sa antenna sa main line sa Balamban Enerzone hinungdan nga nakoryentihan sila,” the policeman said.
