To lure back the public into sending Valentine’s cards and letters through the mail, the Philippine Postal Corporation will play cupid during the Valentine’s Day by making delivery of chocolate and flowers.
The Philpost has launched its “Oplan Pagmamahalan” yesterday, one of the services during the Valentine’s celebration.
Rachel Betos, Philpost marketing specialist, said inter-city delivery of roses and chocolates will be available for mailers on Valentine’s Day for their loved ones. Deliveries will be available in the cities of Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu and Cebu.
“We will not only deliver cards or letters. The public can ask us to send flowers and chocolates for their loved ones for a minimal fee,” she said.
Betos said the delivery of items such as flowers, chocolates and teddy bears will be available starting today in any of the post offices in the region.
“This Valentine’s Day will be more memorable if one will receive flowers and chocolates. We assure the public that we will deliver their package on time,” she said
For those who would want to give their loved ones flowers for the Valentine’s Day, Betos said Philpost offers cheaper prices with an express delivery.
American and Holland Roses will be delivered at P100 to P150.When inclusive with a bar of chocolate, price range at P200 to P250.
Betos advised that those who are interested to avail themselves of the service may have advance booking already so that they will not have to rush during the hearts day.
Betos said the gifts will reach the recipients immediately while those within the region will get their gifts a day after they are mailed.
