NBI confiscates 20 PCs used for porno viewing
The National Bureau of Investigation has seized at least 20 units of personal computers used for viewing pornography on the Internet during a saturation drive in barangay Pasil Monday afternoon.
NBI operatives led by Special Investigator Arnel Pura swooped down on the interior portion of the densely populated barangay following report from a concerned citizen that children can view pornographic sites by dropping P1 coin into a computer box designed like a video karera machine.
By dropping a coin into the box, one can have access to the Internet for four minutes. In fact, during the operation, several children were seen viewing the youporn.com, a pornographic site.
However, no one was arrested during the operation because nobody admitted owning the computers. According to the caretakers, the computers were just left outside their houses by someone they did not know.
They claimed that for allowing a unit to operate outside their house, they are given a percentage of the income.
