Two unidentified men reportedly stole the videodisc player of a policeman’s videoke machine in sitio Danawan, barangay Consuelo, San Francisco town early Wednesday morning.
Police Officer 1 Angelito Doylado, who is detailed at the Police Regional Office-7, told investigators that his videoke machine was placed at the nearby house of his caretaker, Porferio Impas.
At about 1:00 a.m. last Wednesday, Impas reportedly heard noise at the ground floor. But when he immediately went down to check, he saw two unidentified men, who were wearing masks, dismantling the videoke machine.
“Nahadlok si Porferio hinungdan nga dali siyang midagan pagpalayo pero nakamatikod ang suspetsado hinungdan nga nagpabuto sila,” Doylado narrated to the investigators.
When he went back to the house, Impas found that the machine was already destroyed with the videodisc player and undetermined amount of coins were already missing.
According to Doylado, the videodisc player costs P12,000. — Garry B. Lao/LPM
