Governor calls for unity among 3rd district execs
Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia yesterday said unity and cooperation among local government units and barangays promote “phenomenal growth and development” in the grassroots level.
Speaking before the municipal and barangay officials of the third district, Garcia admitted that the district needed aggressive approach and double time for its development.

She admitted that the third district is being left behind by other districts in the province.
However, with the leadership of her brother, Pablo John, the governor said she is confident that it will soon improve, as she dared the barangay officials to work hard to surpass other localities.
The governor also lauded the 3rd Engineering District for responding quickly to the calamities in their areas that transformed the negative public perception of the agency.
For his part, Pablo John also urged his constituents to work hard for the development of their district.
On the other hand,
The mayor told his constituents to show appreciation to the governor for the projects she extended to them.
“This is a challenge for all (barangay captains). Let us show the governor that we are worthy of her help by easing her burdens,” the mayor stressed. — Gerome M. Dalipe/LPM
