The Visayan Electric Cooperative has announced a series of power interruptions in the cities of Talisay and Mandaue and the town of Liloan today and on Tuesday.
Today, a four-hour brownout from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon is expected to hit a portion of barangay Tabunok in Talisay City, including of entire Mansueto Subdivision and Friendly Homes Subdivision, as VECO will be installing a 40 feet concrete pole in the area.
On the same day from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Liloan, power interruption will hit a portion of barangay Jubay, including sitio Tuburan, and a portion of barangay Cotcot, including sitios Tiltilon and Ylaya, and the entire barangays of Cabadiangan and Mulao, as a concrete pole will be installed.
On Tuesday, from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., another brownout will occur in barangay Maguikay in Mandaue (from Cinco private road up to corner of M.L. Quezon Street), as VECO will facilitate the installation of a concrete pole and other lines.
Another power interruption will occur on the same day from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in a portion of barangay Umapad in Mandaue City (including sitios Coconut, Utlaran, Kalubihan, Lemonsito, Tamarind and Tambis), Pilapil Street, R.A. Ouano Street and C.P. Batiller Street in order for the installation of a concrete pole and other lines of VECO.
