Vidal urges families to stay, pray together
Cebu Archbishop Ricardo Cardinal Vidal has urged the faithful to stay and pray together in order to conquer evil and temptation.
In his homily during yesterday’s dawn Mass at the Holy Family Parish in Maguikay,
Vidal said he chose the Holy Family Parish in Maguikay as venue to celebrate the Mass as it has more families than the Holy Family Parish in Lapaz,
Vidal said any member of the family who had not followed the right path should not be forsaken but should be taught and encouraged to do what is right instead.
“For Jesus did not choose who His parents would be, nor did He choose who would he save from. He chose to save us and deliver us sinners from evil,” he said.
Pagbuot niya nga luwason niya ang tanan,” he added.
He also called on families to always go to the church together and to always put God and Jesus at the center of all things.
— Jasmin R.
