One tandem did drive-by shootings: Only one firearm used in carnage
Two weeks after three drive-by shootings that resulted to three deaths and four injuries, the police revealed that only one weapon was used to bolster their theory that the incidents were all related.
Cebu City Police Office Director Patrocinio Comendador bared yesterday the results of the ballistic examination conducted by the Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory.
He also said that the same weapon was used in a shooting incident also at the downtown area last month that left one person dead.

He explained that the result of the ballistic examination will help them build a stronger case and support their theory that it was a frat-related incident.
The police are preparing to file charges against a member of a fraternity, who has been identified by witnesses.
The same person, whose identity the police has kept under warps, reportedly has several pending warrants of arrest for cases of murder and homicide.
Comendador noted that the place where the shooting spree last October 4 started is the place where fraternity men hang out.
The police chief said that another witness has surfaced aside from one of the shooting victims.
The police are however yet to get the sworn statement of the new witness. The witness is reportedly a minor, who saw the incident.
The police have reportedly identified the second suspect, but are still looking for witnesses to pin him down.
Comendador said that they plan to file the appropriate charges against the suspects next week.
