PNPA starts accepting applications for cadets
The Philippine National Police Academy has started accepting from around the country applications for cadets, under a four-year scholarship program, who would later become officials of the PNP.

He said applicants in the region can take here their cadet admission test, other tests (general, physical, neuro-psychiatry, medical, and agility), and interview. The CAT will be held on October 26.
An applicant shall be at least 18 years old but not older than 22 years old before the date of admission.
A male applicant should be at least 5’4” in height while a female applicant should be at least 5’2”. Both must have good moral character, without pending criminal, administrative or civil cases filed at the prosecutor’s office or any court of justice.
Applications forms are available for free from any police stations, camps, jail offices and other government agencies. These can be photocopied also, said Laoyan, adding that the PNP has even provided these forms to some schools to given to interested students.
Completed applications shall be submitted to Police Regional Office-7, Laoyan said.
Laoyan said that a cadet, during his or her entire four-year scholarship program, will receive salary and other benefits.
A PNPA graduate is conferred the rank of inspectors, with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Public Safety, and could join at his or her option the PNP, the Bureau of Fire Protection, or the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
