VECO announced that from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., power interruption would hit a portion of Lopez Jaena Street, from Innodata to the flyover in Subangdaku.
Other affected areas include V. Cabalse Street, Bacalla Street, I. Velasquez Street, S.O. Albano Street, King’s Court Suites, La Tondeña Phils., Cebu Atlantic Hardware, Mandaue Atlas Motors, Subangdaku Elementary School, Kimwa Construction Development Corporation, San Vicente Village and the San Roque Church.
Also affected are some establishments along H. Cortes Street, including Wool Bright Corp., London Biscuit Corp., Gentle Breeze Subdivision, Semense Compound, Eusebio Compound, Sta. Lucia Subdivision, Paray Compound, Roga Subdivision, Fairview Subdivision, Sitio Kasambagan Elizier Furniture Co., QEX Phils. Industries, Panagdait Subdivision and Norkis Display Center.
Another one-hour power outage will occur from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. in barangay Tipolo, Mandaue City, as VECO will facilitate the isolation of lines. Affected areas are portions of Lopez Jaena Street, from Subangdaku flyover to Tipolo skywalk, A.P. Cortes Street, P. Basubas Street, Great Grace Auto Supply, Elizabeth Bldg., La Fuerza Inc., Singson Village, Club Harem and F. Uy Bldg.
On the same day, a 15-minute brownout will occur from 5:15 am to 5:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Mabolo, Cebu City due to VECO’s temporary transfer of load. Areas affected are portions of M.J. Cuenco Avenue (from Old Pepsi up to Innodata), S. Borces Street, J. Seno Street, Tres Borces Street, F.
