Intel cops ordered to strengthen crime monitoring during summer

Cebu Provincial Police Office director S. Supt. Carmelo Valmoria has directed the Provincial Intelligence Branch to strengthen its monitoring during the summer vacation.
In his memorandum, Valmoria said his directive is aimed at thwarting any criminal activity during the school break when many will travel to the provinces to spend vacation.
The directive tasked PIB chief P. Supt. Juanito Enguerra to coordinate will all police stations in the province in order to strengthen their monitoring.
Meanwhile, Valmoria directed Task Force Holy Week head P. Supt. Erson Digal to map out security measures in observance of the Holy Week.
Digal is tasked to strengthen security measures at terminals and port areas in the province. His group is also directed to secure the weeklong fiesta celebration in Bantayan Island and the famous "Sugat" in Minglanilla town.
