Close to 500 adults and children were able to avail of free consultations and were given vitamins and medicine for their ailments such as cough and colds.
The Freeman general manager Melandro Mendoza, foundation administrator Dr. Remedios Bacasmas and Gullas Hospital physicians Manuel Bacaresa, Leticia Abinuman, Bernie Regner and Alma Macasero, together with foundation volunteers and medical interns led the activity yesterday, the first outreach program of the foundation.
"Naka-serve ug ato gyud na-deliver kung unsa'y panginahanglanon sa mga tawo ilabi na nga kasagaran sa atong mga patients nagkasakit og ubo ug hilanat," Bacasmas said.
Mandaue City social welfare volunteer Cancan Quintana thanked the foundation for spearheading the medical mission.
"We are very thankful kay ang tanang apektado naka-avail gyud sa inyong tabang," Quintana said, adding that the foundation has really helped the fire victims in the barangay. -Garry B. Lao/QSB
