Two men grab guard's gun

A security guard was shot by two unidentified men who grabbed his service revolver while he was on duty outside the Prince Warehouse Club along M.C. Briones Street, barangay San Roque, yesterday dawn.
Police identified the victim as Vicente Fariolen, 28, a resident of sitio Tugasan, barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City, and a member of the Mandi Security Agency assigned to the said establishment.
The victim told Homicide investigators that two men sneaked up behind him and grabbed his gun.
The guard tried to stop them but was overpowered and thrown to the ground, one of the men then shot him twice in the back before they got on a red Yamaha motorcycle and fled.
It was Emmanuel Pelaryo, 50, a member of the Barangay Intelligence Network assigned as a watchman of the City Hall, and Rolando Delima, Jr., another security guard, who brought the victim to the Cebu City Medical Center. - Edwin Ian Melecio/BRP
