BFP's new regional director vows to raise level of service

The Bureau of Fire Protection in Central Visayas has a new regional director, Sr/Supt. Eleuterio Iturriaga, who assumed his new office with little fanfare, just days before the 12th Asean Summit recently.
The modest noise of his entry however was matched with the high vision he carried for the regional office. Iturriaga promised that he would do his best to elevate the level of quality of the bureau's services in the region.
Iturriaga, who was the regional director of BFP in Western Visayas, replaced Sr/Supt. Victoriano Remedio for the BFP-Central Visayas top post.
Remedio urged the firefighters in the region to carry on with their good performance and support the new director while Iturriaga added that the people in the region should also support the bureau's personnel.
Iturriaga took his oath before the Department of Interior and Local Government undersecretary for public safety Marius Corpus during the turnover ceremony held at the BFP National Headquarters last January 5. Gregg M. Rubio/RAE-
