110TH RIZAL DAY: Vehicle rerouting set tomorrow

All vehicles traversing Osmeña Boulevard going to Fuente Osmeña will have to take another route after a vehicle rerouting plan will be implemented tomorrow, December 30, in commemoration of the 110th death anniversary of Jose Rizal at the Rizal Memorial Library.

Jonathan Abella, police chief inspector and director of the Cebu City Traffic Group, said that the left side lane going to Capitol building of Osmeña Boulevard from N. Rafols Street to Llorente Street will be closed to vehicular traffic during the said celebration.

Closure time will start at 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. during the said activity.

All vehicles plying Osmeña Boulevard going to Fuente Osmeña Rotunda will have to make a right turn at Rafols Street (Ma. Cristina Street) and then left turn to Don Gil Garcia Street, then left to Llorente Street and right turn to Osmeña Boulevard to Fuente Osmeña Rotunda on that day.

All vehicles also coming from Banawa and Guadalupe going to Fuente Osmeña Rotunda, while traversing along Don Gil Garcia will have to go straight and make a left turn at Llorente Street, right turn at Osmeña Boulevard to Fuente Osmeña Rotunda. - Jasmin R. Uy/MEEV
