Priest loses laptop to burglar

An unidentified burglar broke into the room of a priest at the Metropolitan Cathedral and carted away his laptop computer Tuesday dawn.
Rev. Fr. Roy Bucay, 32, discovered the incident around 12:30 a.m. upon entering his room. He lost his Red Fox Navigation laptop computer worth P41,000 to the burglar.
Based on investigation conducted by SPO2 Edgar Galado of the Theft and Robbery Section of the Cebu City Police Office, Bucay had just arrived from an appointment, and when he was about to enter the Parish Rectory Room, he noticed that the door was locked from inside.
It was after he forcibly pushed open the door that he learned of the incident. TRS operatives are still conducting follow-up investigation into the incident. - Norvie S. Misa
